Madrid, October 21, 2021 1st Meeting on Internal Medicine Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz

Registration is now open!

The 1st Quirónsalud Meeting on Internal Medicine will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the Main Lecture Hall of Hospital Universitario Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid, Spain.

Attendance will be limited on this occasion. However, participants who are unable to be present may view the event via livestream, available through  this website and on the Doryos platform.

Internal medicine is a core discipline providing care for adults with complex diseases, both in the hospital as well as in the community. Practitioners take an evidence-based, patient-centered approach that is consistent with the ethical and holistic principles of medicine.

The aim of this event is to bring together the departments of internal medicine within Quirónsalud so that they may analyze the current situation in our facilities, in other Spanish care centers, and in countries nearby, and discuss the role of internists within our health-care system.

Speakers at the event will present successful experiences in our hospitals and will discuss the transition from a traditional care model to hospital-based medicine characterized by shared care responsibilities, in which internists collaborate with a range of specialists for a simultaneous approach to patients, with joint authority and responsibility over treatment.
